college magazine analysis

This college magazine is half and half as its bright and stylish but with a hint of sophistication, as the man is wearing all white and is been put in black and white on a grey background. The title “COLLEGE” draws attention quickly as its in a big bold font and in bright orange so it stands out form the rest of the magazine, as is the image of hot summer shades in the bottom right corner.  You can clearly see the magazine is cut in to thirds as the man is directly in the middle with the main points of the magazine either side, above the college banner you can see in small black writing that this magazine is considered to tell you about whats “hip, hot and happening”  this can be reinforced by the image of an ipad on the left hand side which also shows that this magazine is up to date with technology, the orange underling of  gives this part of the cover more importance.
